It must have spent a lot of it's life parked up against a building like that, there's sun fading on the hood and base of the windshield but not the roof. Amazing condition for a survivor..

I know North American Fiestas had different headlights because the trapez
oi
dal ones they were designed for were illegal over there but this car has something non-standard in the way of lights - maybe LEDs.

My good friend in high school had a few of these - his dad loved them and bought any he could find, kept them in a barn - it wasn’t very many of them, but still, I don’t recall every seeing one that wasn’t his. They were good fun to drive, if I recall correctly. But then I was also 16 so... anything with a motor was good fun. Not fast. But fun.

I have a memory of riding in the backseat as a preschool kid in one like this in orange. My friend’s mother had it and liked it and years later she missed it so they got a red after that.

I didn’t even know they sold the first-gen
Fiesta over here in North America!

I’m surprised there are any left here.
I remember one of my aunts came to visit us when I was 5, and this was their rental car. I got to ride down Pikes Peak in it. I remember it was very orange.

Yep, they got rid of it when the Escort debuted.
